Ayah Alatrash is a Palestinian photographer based in Montreal, QC. Discovering photography at a young age, she went on to study in the field at Dawson College after completing a pre-university degree in Psychology. Her creative process is habitually simple, authentic and genuine. She seeks to capture significant moments; her camera being a sketch book depicting solely spur-of-the- moment feelings and gut-feeling.

Over the years, she has dabbled in portraiture, landscapes, architecture and e-com, however, she found a home in street and documentary photography. A few years into her artistic creations, she discovered film and the beauty it was hiding. Ayah now carries her film camera with her wherever she goes and shoots decisive irreplicable occurrences.
